Who we are
Runizi is run by Adrien Caillo, [legal status, for example "EI"], [business address]. For anything about your data, write to [privacy contact email] or reply to any Runizi email.
What we collect on the waitlist
- Your first name and email.
- Your next race (distance, date, how much it matters) and your goal time.
- Your age, sex and weekly running volume.
- Your most recent race (distance and time), with how it compares to other runners and how your goal compares to it, both computed on the page.
- Your watch brand.
- Only if you tick the box for it: whether you've ever been injured from running, and what you think caused it. This is health data (see below).
- Whether you asked for updates, which version of the consent texts you saw, and when you signed up.
- Your browser's user agent (browser and system names), to fix display problems.
Why, and on what basis
- Telling you when your spot opens: you asked for it by signing up. [legal basis to confirm: steps taken at your request before a contract, GDPR art. 6(1)(b)]
- Preparing your plan from your answers, and understanding who signs up. [legal basis to confirm]
- Health data: only with your explicit consent (GDPR art. 9(2)(a)), given by ticking its box. You can withdraw it anytime: we then delete those answers.
- Updates (training notes, launch news): only if you ticked the updates box (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). Unsubscribe anytime.
Who handles it
We never sell your data and never use it for advertising. These providers process it on our behalf:
- Our automation server (n8n), which receives the form: [hosting provider and country].
- Google Sheets, where the list is stored: Google [entity, region, transfer safeguard; or the replacement storage once the list moves].
- Telegram, which notifies the founder of each signup (name, email, race answers, no health data): [entity and transfer safeguard].
- Vercel Inc. (United States), which hosts this site and keeps technical logs, including IP addresses. These logs may be processed outside the EU; Vercel states that it relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for such transfers. [confirm Vercel's current certification and the safeguard in its data processing agreement]
- Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads its fonts. [remove this line once the fonts are served from runizi.com]
How long we keep it
[to confirm: until 3 years after our last contact with you, or deleted when the product opens if you don't create an account]. Health answers go as soon as you withdraw your consent.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, object to its use, and withdraw any consent, at [privacy contact email] or by replying to any of our emails. We answer within a month. You can also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr) [or the ICO in the UK].
Cookies and tracking
None. No cookies, no analytics, no ad pixels.
Age
Runizi is for adults: you need to be 18 or over to join the waitlist. If we learn that someone under 18 signed up, we delete their data.
This section is our consumer health data policy, written for the laws of Washington, Nevada and Connecticut and for the GDPR.
What we collect
Whether you've ever been injured from running, and what you think caused it. Nothing else on the waitlist is health data. We collect it only after you tick its box; the question is optional.
Why
To set your training load with your history in mind once your coach is ready.
Where it comes from
Only from you.
Who receives it
Only the storage providers listed above, acting on our behalf. We don't sell it, share it for anyone else's use, or use it for advertising. [confirm the list once storage moves off Google Sheets]
Your rights
See it, delete it, or withdraw your consent at [privacy contact email]. [response time to confirm for US states]
